Redmine Importer does not copy over attachments

Problem
When importing issues from Redmine into JIRA, attachments are not automatically copied over as they should be. No errors are logged and the rest of the information is copied over correctly.
Diagnosis
Environment
- Redmine Importers Plugin 2.1.1
- Redmine 2.3.2
- JIRA 6.4
Cause
This happens if the Importer plugin is using a HTTP server URL to connect to Redmine.
Resolution
Connect to Redmine using HTTPS instead and the attachments will be copied over successfully.
