Remote API permission denied when using JIRA Eclipse plugin on Mac OS
Symptoms
Users get the following error when trying to access JIRA using JIRA Eclipse Plugin:
Cause
Eclipse makes use of OSX integrated Keystore to handle the authentication. This not works properly in all cases (permission issues).
Workaround
Disable integration, enabling Eclipse to access JIRA without the Keystore integration. Go to Preferences > General > Security > Secure Storage and uncheck as following:
