Resolutions are the ways in which an issue can be closed. Jira applications ship with a set of default resolutions, but you can add your own and also translate them as follows:

  1. In your Jira Service Management instance, click on the Cog Icon > Issues.
  2. Scroll down to Issues Attributes, and select Resolution > On the top left-hand corner, Translate resolutions.
  3. The Translation page displays the translation set for the currently selected language.
  4. To view/update a translation set for a specific language, select the required language from the View language translations list at the top of the page and click the View button to preview the translation:
  5. Note that a translated name and description can be set specifically for each status.
  6. Once all translations have been entered, select Update.
