Unable to create a Jira Agile Trial License from the manage add-ons page in Jira

Problem
When trying to create a Jira Agile Trial License from the UPM, you will be directed to the 'This site is down at the moment' page and cannot generate a license.
When making the following actions...
Install Jira Agile
Click 'Free trial' button
Enter your details and click submit
Diagnosis
You are using a version of Jira < 7.0.
Cause
With the release of Jira 7, these Add-ons have been re-packaged as the Jira Core, Jira Software and Jira Service Management Applications. Go to the Atlassian Migration Hub for further details.
Unable to locate Jira server for this macro. It may be due to Application Link configuration.
Workaround
- Go to your My Atlassian account and generate a new Jira Software evaluation license
- Copy the license key and paste it into the Jira Agile license field on the Manage Add-ons page in Jira
