Unable to view the email address of a few of the users in the People section

This article contains details of the scenario where the email address of a few of the users is not visible in the People section under the project settings.

Solution

Profile and visibility settings

The email address of the user account will be visible depending on the configuration in the user's profile and visibility settings.

The below steps can be followed to update the email visibility by the user:

  • Navigate to the profile and visibility setting: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/profile-and-visibility

  • The user can choose whether the email needs to be shared with the organization, anyone, or only with admins.

  • Once the setting is updated, the email should be visible for the user in the people section.
