Using Firefox add-on Poster throws error when dragging a quick filter around the Backlog or Active Sprint page (including Project sidebar)

Problem
When dragging a quick filter around the Backlog or Active Sprints page (especially to the Project sidebar), an error message pops out in the browser
You can replicate this error by following the steps below:
- Go to a Backlog or Active Sprint page.
- Click on a quick filter located on the page and drag it.
- Drag the quick filter (which may be represented as a link) to the Project sidebar.
The following error message appears in the browser:
Diagnosis
Environment
- Firefox 27 and above. You can verify your browser version by following the steps below:
- Copy the line under the heading 'Environment' in the error message. This line is the User agent string.
- Go to the website User Agent String.Com and paste the line into the text box.
- Click on 'Analyse' and view what browser version you are currently using.
- Has Poster as an add-on in Firefox.
Cause
The Firefox add-on Poster was last updated on June 2011 and is only compatible with versions 1.5 - 26.*. As such, the incompatibility of the add-on plugin with the newer versions of Firefox such as the latest Firefox 55 (as of 8th September 2017) may be the cause of the error being shown.
Resolution
The recommended step would be to disable or remove the Poster add-on from the Firefox browser.
