Problem

When viewing a plan in Portfolio, it is arranged into Sprints even though Sprints were never created by any users.

Diagnosis

Check whether the Teams boards are using Scrum or Kanban

  1.  Go to your plan via Portfolio (in header) > View Portfolio > click your 'Mobil Apps Roadmap' plan.
  2.  Click the Teams tab to display the teams section below the timeline.
  3.  Drop-down has Scrum selected

Cause

The plan is using Scrum to plan work, so Sprints are created by default

Workaround

Set the teams to use Kanban instead of Scrum to remove the Sprints from your plan-

  1. Go to your plan via Portfolio (in header) > View Portfolio > click your 'Mobil Apps Roadmap' plan.
  2. Click the Teams tab to display the teams section below the timeline.
  3. Open the drop-downs that read Scrum and change them to Kanban
  4. Click on Uncommitted changes and commit your changes to remove the Sprints
