Major Upgrade

  1. Remove Bonfire for Firefox. In Firefox, go to "Preferences", then "Manage Add-ons". Find "Atlassian Bonfire" and click "Remove". "Restart" Firefox when prompted.
  2. Download the new Bonfire for Firefox from JIRA. In JIRA, go to the "Get Bonfire Extension" page in your user name the "Test Sessions" drop down in the top right.
  3. Click "Download " Bonfire for Firefox". 
  4. Click "Allow" then wait for the extension to download.
  5. Click and "Install Now" when prompted. 
  6. Click "Restart Now" Firefox.

Minor Upgrade
Depending on your settings for automatic updates to extensions, Firefox may automatically update Bonfire's extension to the latest once it is made available. Alternatively, you can force Firefox to check for an update of Bonfire for Firefox. To do this:

  1. Go to Firefox Preferences
  2. On the general tab, click 'Manage Add-ons'
  3. At the top right of the Add-ons manager, click on the cog drop down, then 'Check for Updates'
  4. Available updates to Bonfire for Firefox will be downloaded, and follow Firefox prompts to restart Firefox.

Chrome

Major Upgrade

  1. Remove Bonfire for Chrome. In Chrome, right click on the Image Removed icon in the toolbar in the top right, and select "Uninstall".
  2. Download the new Bonfire for Chrome from JIRA. In JIRA, go to the "Get Bonfire Extension" page in your user name "Test Sessions" drop down in the top right.
  3. Click "Download " Bonfire for Chrome. When prompted, click "Continue", then "Install".

Chrome will automatically update Bonfire's extension to the latest once it is made available. Alternatively, you can force Chrome to check for an update of Bonfire for Firefox. To do this:

  1. Click on the spanner in the top right of Chrome
  2. Go to 'Tools' -> 'Extensions'
  3. In Chrome's extension manager, click on 'Developer mode' at the top right of the screen.
  4. Click 'Update Extensions now'

Remove Bonfire for Safari. In Safari, to to "Preferences", then "Extensions". Find "Atlassian Bonfire" and click "Uninstall".

  1. Download the new Bonfire for Safari from JIRA. In JIRA, go to the "Get Bonfire Extension" page in your user name the "Test Sessions" drop down in the top right.
  2. Click "Download " Bonfire for Safari"
  3. Double, then double-click "bonfire-latest.safariextz" in the Downloads dialog. 
  4. When prompted, "Install" Atlassian Bonfire.

  1. Go to Safari Preferences
  2. Go to the 'Extensions' tab
  3. Click on 'Updates' at the bottom left hand corner of the dialog
  4. Click 'Update' for Bonfire
