Insight has disappeared from the top menu bar and cannot be accessed via urls.

Summary
Insight has disappeared from the top menu bar, and it is no longer accessible through direct URLs.
This is due to the expiry of the Insight addon license installed.
If Jira Software is licensed, and Jira Service Management is not installed, the addon will require a new addon license in order for it to be enabled.
In Insight v.8.9.4 or later the License field was removed from the addon in the UPM so while you can click a button to renew the license - you have no option to manually paste the new license in the addon.
(for example - if the instance is not connected to the Internet, and the license cannot be applied from my.atlassian.com)
Solution
Downgrade the Insight addon to an earlier version (e.g. v.8.6.8), paste the new license in the License field.
Once validated, you may upgrade Insight to the previous / newer version.
