Moving a page from one space to another
To move a page from its current space to another space within your site:
1. Click on the 'Edit' tab of that page.
2. Choose the Parent Page under which you wish to move the current page. This page must already exist in the new space. You cannot create a new page using this field.
To browse and locate a parent page, click on one of the following tabs:
History : Displays a list of ------ pages,
Recently Modified : Displays pages modified most recently
Referring Pages : Displays a list of all pages that refer to the current page.
Select the desired parent page.
You may also use the Search facility to locate the page (currently being built).
Alternately, simply type in the name of the parent page.
3. Choose the space you wish to move the page to by selecting it from the 'Space' drop down list.
Click 'Update'.
Moving Page Families from one space to another
If you wish to move an entire family of pages from one space to another, go to the top most or Parent Page in that family.
1. Click on the 'Edit' tab.
2. Choose the 'Parent Page' under which you wish to move the family of pages. This page must already exist in the new space or you need to have created it before you can move the page family.
As in the case of moving a single page, use the tabs available; History, Recently Modified or Referring Pages to select the desired Parent Page.
3. Select the space to which you want to move your pages from the 'Space' drop down menu.
4. Check the box titled 'Move Children'.
This will ensure that all the pages referred to from the current page are transferred along with the parent page when it is moved to the new space.
5. Click 'Update'.
