Linking to pages within a space

In Confluence notation, links are always denoted by square brackets.

To link to a page in the same space, simply put the name of the page you want to link to in square brackets. For example, if you want to link to a page in the current space called 'Home', this is how you do it:

[Home]

Confluence will interpret this as being an inter-page link, like this:

Home

Confluence also allows you to create links first and add pages later. If you want to link to a page you intend to create later, this is how you do it:

[Link to new page]

Confluence will interpret this as

Link to new page

This type of a link is an undefined link and is indicated with the plus sign to remind you that the page needs to be created. Clicking on it brings up a screen where you can add content and create the page.
