In a nutshell

The Genuine Atlassian User Group program is a personal invitation to you - our customer and backbone of the Atlassian community - to run Atlassian User Groups (AUG) your way, along with a ton of sweet benefits and help from us.

A user group is a short get-together (2-3 hours) held multiple times per year in the region of your choice. Just like a Java, Agile or Open Source User Group, the purpose of an AUG is to network, learn from peers and have a grand-ol' time doing so. User groups are great for meeting other customers, discussing common challenges and solutions, and sharing meaningful ideas applicable to your experience.

Atlassian user groups have been running for years and we've collected great information for you on how to make the events successful. Check out the AUG cookbook for recipes on whipping up a terrific user group.

How are AUGs organized?
  • Run by actual users, with promotional support from Atlassian
  • Established all over the world, in a city near you!
  • One or two leaders host the events regularly (at least once a quarter)
  • Atlassian staff will attend when possible

Browse this space for more information on joining meet-ups that are already established or resources to start your own own group.
