What is Bonfire?

Bonfire is an add-on to JIRA and includes browser extensions designed to rapidly capture comprehensive bug reports when testing web applications. It has both a JIRA server plugin component, as well as browser extensions.

How do I set up Bonfire?

What version of JIRA do I need to run Bonfire?

Bonfire is compatible with JIRA 4.2.4 and later versions. For more information about Bonfire compatibility, see our Compatibility Chart

Which browsers do Bonfire work with?

Bonfire extensions are available for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. For more information, see our Compatibility Chart

Can I try out Bonfire somewhere?

Yes, it's installed on http://sandbox.onjira.com. You can try it out there and see it in action.

Where can I give you feedback?

To give the Bonfire team feedback, simply raise an issue in our issue tracker at jira.atlassian.com.

When does promotional pricing end?

Promotional pricing will end 15th September, 2011.

Is Bonfire available for JIRA Hosted?

For now, JIRA Hosted customers can download an evaluation of Bonfire using the Plugin Manager. We hope to make Bonfire available for purchase for all of our hosted products very soon.

Is Bonfire available for JIRA Studio?

No, not at the moment. We hope to make Bonfire available for all of our hosted products, including JIRA Studio, very soon.

How can I create my own variables?

You can create dynamic variables to use inside your issue templates. See our usage guide on Templates and Variables for more details.

Can a session belong to multiple issues?

For now, a Bonfire test session can belong to only a single issue, or a single project. We would love to hear more about your use case and feedback on this issue in our issue tracker.

Is Bonfire available in my local language?

As of 1.0, Bonfire only supports English. We hope to support multiple languages shortly. In the meantime, you can stay updated on this issue in our issue tracker.
