A swimlane is a means of categorising issues so that agile teams can see which issues they should work on next.

GreenHopper provides:

  • Vertical categorisation of issues based on issue status, via "columns" on the Task Board.
  • Horizontal categorisation of issues based on issue priority, via "swimlanes" on the Rapid Board. To configure swimlanes, see Configuring Swimlanes.
