Symptoms

When attempting to transition an issue, JIRA responds with the following error:

Error creating issue: Property '<name>' not found.

Diagnosis

This is only seen while using a Script Workflow Function provided by the Script Runner plugin.

Cause

This syntax is used to define properties and variables for the Script Runner engine, and is intercepted by it.

Resolution

• Remove the Script Workflow Function from the Workflow
