Problem

Users are unable to see any of the issues through the issue navigator when using the reporter parameter.

An example of the JQL might be:

project = <project name> and reporter = <user>

Cause

If the Reporter field is hidden, JIRA will not pick up any of the issue in filters, and it will seem as though there are no matches.

Resolution

To resolve this, go into the Field Configuration for the project and change to value from hidden to show.
