Push commits for an existing file (Mercurial)

When you update an existing file, you need to commit and push the change to your remote repository. Sourcetree updates to indicate the file has a change.

  1. Click the Commit button at the top to commit the file.

  2. In the message box, enter a commit message.
  3. Click the Commit button under the box. Your new file is now committed to the project history.

  4. From SourceTree, click the Push button to push your committed changes.

  5. From the dialog box that appears, click OK.
