Confluence 6.4 released

The Atlassian Confluence team is excited to announce the release of Confluence 6.4!

What's in this release?

  • Easier access to your drafts. You can now find drafts that you've created or edited under Recently worked on in the dashboard.
  • Close the loop on unfinished workA handy unpublished changes lozenge now appears next to the page in your Recently worked on, and when viewing the page, to remind you about your unfinished work. 
  • Other improvements including page history and updates to the Performance Testing Framework.

Confluence 6.3 released

The Atlassian Confluence team is excited to announce the release of Confluence 6.3!

What's in this release?

  • Stability improvements. We've made a number of changes that will help avoid out of memory errors in your site. 
  • Easier access to recent work. You can now get your recently worked on pages from the profile menu. This is particularly useful in sites that use a page, not the dashboard, as the site homepage.
  • More languages. We've added three more language packs.

Confluence 6.3.0-beta2 is now available! This is our first public Confluence 6.3 beta and provides a snapshot of our work in progress and gives add-on developers an opportunity to test and fix their plugins in advance of an official release.

Confluence 6.3.0-m04 is now available!  This milestone provides a snapshot of our work in progress and gives add-on developers an opportunity to test and fix their plugins in advance of an official release.  

We plan to release regular milestones during the development of Confluence 6.3.  Head to Preparing for Confluence 6.3 in our developer docs to find out when a new milestone is available and what's changed (we won't be publishing release notes over at Development Releases until we release a beta).

Confluence 6.2 released

The Atlassian Confluence team is excited to announce the release of Confluence 6.2!

What's in this release?

  • Invite people to edit. Working on a page and could use some help? You can now invite your teammates to edit the page with you, without leaving the editor!
  • Performance Testing Framework. Take the mystery out of sizing your Data Center cluster. The framework helps admins analyze and compare Confluence performance of different versions and number of nodes, under workloads of various sizes and shapes.
  • More languages. We've improved our translations for French, German, Russian and Spanish, plus added four brand new language packs.

Confluence 6.1.3 is now available from the Confluence download site. This release contains bug-fixes and minor improvements.

Confluence 6.2.0-beta1 is now available! This is our first public Confluence 6.2 beta and provides a snapshot of our work in progress and gives add-on developers an opportunity to test and fix their plugins in advance of an official release. It has:

  • Invite people to edit a page, without leaving the editor
  • Request access to a page with edit restrictions
  • Easily share a page using the short URL
  • New Finnish, Italian, Norwegian and Romanian language packs.

  • Team Playbook blueprints. Have you tried the Atlassian Team Playbook yet? Confluence 6.1 ships with some awesome blueprints that help you check the health of your team or project, envision solutions and make the most important decisions. 
  • Confluence Data Center for AWS. We've worked with Amazon to develop a new Quick Start that makes deploying a Confluence Data Center cluster on Amazon Web Services (AWS) a breeze. The Quick Start is available right now at https://aws.amazon.com/quickstart/architecture/confluence/.  
  •  SAML Single sign-on for Data CenterGive your team a simple, convenient way to sign in by connecting Confluence Data Center to your SAML 2.0 identity provider. It's quick and easy to configure, and we support a wide range of identity providers.
  •  Safe startup. You can now start Confluence Server from the command line with all user installed add-ons disabled or selected add-ons disabled.
