Move multiple objects to a selected object type.

  1. Click Insight > Search for objects.
  2. Click Bulk >Move.
  3. Complete each step to bulk move the objects:
    1. Choose objects:
      1. Choose the objects that you wish to move by clicking on the button to the left of the object. To select all of the objects on this page, click on the button at the top of the object list. To select all objects, click Select all (number of objects) objects.
      2. Click Next.
    2. Select object type
      1. Select the new object type for these objects in the drop-down list.
    3. Manage references
      1. If there are inbound references that cannot be maintained when moving to the new object type, select what to do with these references:
        1. Do not move objects with inbound references
        2. Move objects and discard incompatible inbound references
    4. Map attributes
      1. Select a destination attribute for each original attribute of the objects you are moving. 
      2. Please note that if the destination attribute is incompatible due to type, cardinality, or validation rules the attribute value will be discarded.
      3. If you select a destination attribute that has already been selected, the original source attribute will be cleared.
    5. Confirm move
      1. You will now see a summary of the changes about to be made. This action cannot be undone. All incompatible values from the attributes of these objects will be discarded.
      2. Click Confirm to confirm the bulk move.
