You can create a page from anywhere within Confluence by clicking this icon. Pages in Confluence are written using a simple notation that allows for all the styles available in a standard text editor:

• Text Formatting: bold, underline, italics, strike
  

  headings, and so on

• Linking to anywhere within or outside Confluence
• Images/attachments

• Tables
