You can create a page from anywhere within Confluence so long as you have the permission to create one. Just click on the 'Add Page' link located beside each space on the Dashboard or at the top of every page.
Pages in Confluence are written using a simple notation that allows for all the styles available in a standard text editor. And to help you along the way, the quick notation guide is conveniently placed beside the edit screen. Confluence also allows for some complex styling and formatting.
