Confluence allows you to create child pages in several different ways:

1. Click on the 'Add Page' link from the parent page. Confluence defaults the new page as a chid of the original page.
   
   
2. Click on 'Add Page' from anywhere in Confluence and select the parent page by using the 'Choose a Page' option.
   
   
3. Click on the 'Add Child Page' link that is displayed when you choose to 'show' children.
   \(i) This option is available only when the page already has children.
