If your source-code repository provides metadata (i.e. key-value properties that are used to describe your build) for your build results, Bamboo will display it.

On this page:

Viewing the Metadata for a Build Result

To view the metadata for a build result:

  1. Navigate to the build results for the Plan/Job, as described in Viewing a Build Result, and click the desired build result.
  2. Click the 'Metadata' tab.

    It's not clear here how to specify your own metadata in the build process via plugins.  Can you either comment on that, or provide a reference link to the appropriate plugin section of the documentation?
