we developed a plugin internally that will 'downstream" issues and keep then synced between 2 instances.

    This plugin was really cool.  Any chance you are considering releasing it on the plugin exchange?

      Agreed. I was wondering the same thing. Several of my customers run into the same issue - two right now to some degree.

        Hi guys, sorry for the late reply.

        Unfortunately, the beauracray at my company to contribute code is too much.  i may create another version from scratch, this time open source. :(  that sucks, because i dont really have the time to maintain  it either.  Open Source is so much more scalable.

         i can publish what we did to achieve it though...i.e. design and implementation notes..

    We had a hack at linking two issues together which are on different JIRA servers - it's only in a prototype, but it's looking promising.
