In a few cases when Insight has been updated, upgrade scripts hasn't been executed. the reason has been found to be related to another add on Extension for Jira Service Desk which is causing errors, it has to be updated to version 5.1.0. After that you need to restart Jira. Atlassian has opened an internal bug against their Universal Plugin Manager component because such errors should not affect all add-ons and there should be detailed information logged about the add-on that is failing.

This is what you need to do:

  1. "Extension for Jira Service Desk" has to be updated to version 5.1.0 or later.
  2. Disable and enable Insight again. This will make the upgrade script to be run.
