Confluence allows you to create child pages in three different ways:

  1. Click on the 'Add Page' link from the page you want to set as parent. Confluence defaults the new page as a child of the first page.

  2. Click on the 'Add Page' link from anywhere in Confluence and select the parent page by using the Choose a Page option.
If you want a page from a different space to be the parent, select the space from the drop down menu and then use the 'Choose a page' option.

  3. Click on the 'Add Child Page' link that is displayed when you choose to 'show' children.
\(i) This option is available only when the page already has children.
