Confluence 1.4 has reached end of life

Each space in Confluence can publish its own news. This includes RSS Feeds, announcements, journal entry or any other type of content that you would categorise as news.
To view the news items of a space,
1. Click on the 'Browse Space' link for that space. This will display a screen with a set of space related tabs.
2. Click on the tab 'News'.The news items for are displayed in reverse chronological order (latest items first).
3. For each news item, the date
1. The Date: This is displayed in the banner preceding the news item.

2. Name of poster and Time it was posted : These are displayed in the footer at the bottom of the news item.
3. Comments : The number of comments on this news item are also displayed in the footer. Click on the link to view comments or to add one of your own.

Use the Calendar to help you find other news items by clicking on the and icons to navigate between months.
Days which have news items will be underlined to indicate they link to a view of all the news items posted on that day.
When you are viewing a single news item, you'll see links below the calendar to the next and previous news items.
