In Confluence notation, links are always denoted by square brackets. Whenever you place text between square brackets, Confluence recognizes it as a link.
To link to a page in the same space

where:
'Home' is the name of the page you want to link to.
To link to an undefined page
Confluence allows you to create links first and add content to those pages later. This type of a link is an undefined link and is indicated with the plus sign. Clicking on the link will bring up a screen where you can add content for the page.

where:
'Link to a new page' is the title of the page you intend to create later.
