The Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) is available in a number of Atlassian applications|Installing the Universal Plugin Manager. Please see the relevant section below for instructions on how to access the Universal Plugin Manager in your application.

Required Permissions: You need the JIRA System Administrator global permission to access the Universal Plugin Manager in JIRA.

To access the Universal Plugin Manager in JIRA:
  1. Click the 'Administration' link on the top bar to open the administration console.
  2. Click the 'Plugins' link under the 'System' section in the left menu. The 'Universal Plugin Manager' will be displayed, showing the plugins installed on your JIRA site.

Required Permissions: You need the Confluence System Administrator global permission to access the Universal Plugin Manager in Confluence.

To access the Universal Plugin Manager in Confluence:
  1. Click the 'Browse' menu link on the top navigation bar and select the 'Confluence Admin' option.
  2. Click the 'Plugins' link in the 'Administration' section of the left-hand menu. The 'Universal Plugin Manager' will be displayed, showing the plugins installed on your Confluence site.

Required Permissions: You need the Bamboo global admin permission to access the Universal Plugin Manager in JIRA.

To access the Universal Plugin Manager in Bamboo:
  1. Log in as a user with the 'Admin' global permission.
  2. Click the 'Administration' link in the top navigation bar.
  3. In the left-hand menu, under the title 'System', click the 'Plugins' link.
