From GreenHopper 5.1, we will be testing some exciting new functionality, giving you a sneak preview of new features coming in future releases.

New features being trialled in GreenHopper 5.1 will be of most interest to Kanban teams. They include:

To switch 'Labs' on:

  1. Log in as a user with the 'JIRA Administrators' global permission.
  2. Click the 'Administration' link on the top bar, then select 'JIRA Administration' from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select 'General Configuration' from the 'GreenHopper' section of the administration menu.
  4. Under 'GreenHopper Labs', select the features that are of interest to you.

The Return of Full Colour Cards

By popular request, we are re-introducing the ability to display the entire card (not just its header) in the mapped colour for the card's issue type. To colour your entire cards, go to <Tools><User Preferences><General> and select 'Background Colour' (under 'Look and Feel').

Task Board for Unscheduled

On the Task Board, you can now further filter versions by 'Unscheduled', which will show all issues that are not assigned to a version.

Two Line List

We are experimenting with reducing the maximum vertical height of issues in the 'List' view from 3 lines to 2 lines.
