The Atlassian Crowd team is pleased to present Crowd 2.4.2.

This release is a recommended upgrade for all customers which fixes a number of bugs.

This release makes Oracle 11g support official. Other bug fixes include StaleStateExceptions under concurrent load and issues with case-sensitivity. Installation as a Windows service is improved, with file encoding and memory usage now being set during installation.

Note, Crowd 2.4.1 and later versions fix an important security flaw. See the Crowd 2.4.1 Release Notes for details.
