The Cheese macro simply displays the words "I like cheese!"
You can use this macro to test the Confluence macro functionality. ![]()
Using the Cheese Macro
To add the Cheese macro to a page:
- In the Confluence editor, choose Insert > Other Macros.
- Find and select the required macro.
The cheese macro renders the following message on the page: I like cheese!
There are no parameters for this macro.

This is so awesome that I had to create an account just to say so. It makes me especially happy because for the last decade or so I've written web dev books and "I like cheese!" has always been either an example message or an encryption passphrase (or both!) in some of my books' examples....
...because cheese is awesome.
