The Note macro allows you to highlight a note on a Confluence page.

It creates a yellow-coloured box surrounding your text:

Using the Note Macro

To add the Note macro to a page:

  1. In the Confluence editor, choose Insert > Other Macros.
  2. Find and select the required macro.

Add the text of the note to the body of the macro placeholder.

Parameters

When editing, you can click on the macro placeholder and choose Edit to display the parameters for this macro in the Macro Browser.

Parameters are options that you can set for Confluence macros to control the content or format of the macro output. The table below lists parameters for this macro that can be set in the Macro Browser.

    • true – displays the warning icon
    • false – the icon is not displayed

    Can you please provide an example of the parameter usage?

    For e.g. is the parameter called Optional title? Or is it called Title?

      This page is part of the documentation for Confluence 4.0.  I assume you are using a previous version of Confluence. If so, please use the links to the documentation for older versions of Confluence that are provided at the top left. You'll find information about wiki markup there.
