JIRA Software update
You can now reopen sprints that have been closed too early, by mistake, or for any other reason.
All you need to do is click Reopen Sprint in the Sprint Report of the sprint you want to reopen.
Print issue cards
Whether you're planning some work or working on some issues on a Scrum or Kanban board, you can now print your issue cards. You can use the printed cards on a physical board, which can be a replica of your board in JIRA Software.
You can print just one issue card, multiple cards, or even all of them in small-, medium-, and large-size prints.
Sprint Report and Velocity Chart calculations
To make sure all the work your team completes in a sprint is counted in key performance reports, changes have been made to Sprint Report and Velocity Chart calculations.
The changes fix inconsistencies in the way values were reported depending on factors such as:
- estimated cards brought into a sprint after it had started
- unestimated cards brought into a sprint late, and then estimated
- issues that were re-estimated during a sprint.
The Velocity Chart now consistently reports these factors in the completed column for each sprint. The Sprint Report now shows initial values and updated values for each item, and the total completed will be accurate.
The fix applies retrospectively to all reports.
View all boards in your instance
Previously, to view all of the boards in your instance, you would select Boards > Manage Boards from the top navigation bar, which shows you the boards you've recently visited. However, if you've just started using JIRA Software, and you haven't viewed any boards yet, you'd see an empty 'Recently visited boards' page. Then, you'd have to click All boards just to view the boards in your instance.
We've modified the top navigation bar so that now, you would select Boards > View All Boards, which shows all of the boards in your instance instead.
JIRA Service Desk 3.1.0-OD-02
This is a minor bug fix release. Full bug fix details can be found here.
Easier page and post favoriting
Marking a page or blog post as a favorite makes it easy to get back to. You might do this for pages and posts you really like, or just the ones you need to visit regularly. We've moved the Favorite option out of the menu and into the main page tools section, so it's even easier to mark something as a favorite.
To access your favorites, just hit your profile picture and choose Favorites.
