Missing blog post due to corrupt index

Note that this KB was created for the Data Center version of the product. Problem
There are missing blog (news) posts from the blog-posts macro after news has been recently added.
Cause
The index defaults to being updated every minute. The index job may not have occurred yet, or the index is corrupted.
Resolution
Rebuild the index via Administration > Content Indexing, or rebuild the content indices from scratch.
