Deleting a Sprint

This page only applies to Scrum boards.

Before you begin

To delete a sprint, you need to have the 'Administer Projects' permission for all projects included in this board.

Only planned sprints (sprints that are not yet started) can be deleted.

• Active sprints: If you want to remove active sprints from the Backlog and the Active sprints, you will need to end them.
• Closed sprints: Sprints that are already closed cannot be deleted.

Deleting a planned sprint

1. Click the Agile link's down-arrow in the top navigation bar, then select your preferred board from the resulting dropdown menu.
2. Click Backlog.
3. Click the ... icon at the top right of the sprint, the click Delete this sprint.
