You need to have the global permission Jira Administrators to create object schemas

Create a new object schema

  1. Choose Explore Object Schemas in the Insight top menu
  2. Click on Create New Object Schema
  3. Chose to create an Empty Object Schema
  4. Give the object schema a name, key and description

Set object schema permissions

Open your object schema and select "Configure" in the drop down menu

By selecting the "Roles" tab you can set the object schema permissions. More information the roles can be found here.
