JIRA 6.4.1 Release Notes

  31 March 2015

The Atlassian JIRA team announces the release of JIRA 6.4.1. This point release contains several updates and fixes. We're also pleased to announce that we've added a new onboarding flow that'll give JIRA (and JIRA Agile) users a personalized onboarding experience.

The new onboarding experience will assist you in selecting an avatar, teach you a little about projects and issues, and get you working faster, sooner.

JIRA also displays a 'What's new?' pop-up window that allows users to sign-up for a newsletter about JIRA. The default for this is 7 days after the user first logs in. This value can be changed by accessing Administrator > General Configuration > Advanced Settings and changing the jira.newsletter.tip.delay.days option. To disable the feature entirely, set the value to -1.

Upgrading to JIRA 6.4.1 is free to all customers with active JIRA software maintenance.
