Changing User Profile Preferred Timezone

Summary
In an organization where users are spread across different timezones, there will be scenarios where people will be at a different timezone than that of the Jira default system timezone.
User Profile Preferences allows individual users to choose the preferred timezone displayed on their UI.
This KB is a guide on how users can change their user profile timezone preference.
Diagnosis
When choosing a timezone in user profile preferences, only one option is available.
Cause
The options under User profile Preferences' Time Zone dropdown are tied to the Region.
The default Region is set to the Jira system timezone.
Solution
In order to change an individual user's preferred time zone, change the Region dropdown value.
As an example below, choosing the GMT Offset Region allows users to choose their specific GMT+/- offset time zone.
