Restart your Apache server

This is needed to pick up on the new configuration. This can be done by running the following on your command line/terminal/shell:

sudo apachectl restart

For Windows you can stop and start the Apache service by going to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services, look for "Apache2" and select it. Now on the Menu bar select the stop button (square) and wait for the status of the service to change to 'Stopped', one the service is stopped select the start button (triangle) and wait for the status to change to 'Started'.
