  • Attempt to bulk change issues and check if the destination project appears in the drop-down list.
  • Verify if the project is new:
    • Check the list of all projects to confirm if the destination project exists.
    • Determine whether you or someone else created the project to assess potential permission gaps.
    • Have you successfully moved issues in bulk before
  • Confirm your permissions:
    • Missing Project-Specific Permissions:

    • Missing Global Bulk Change Permission:

Solution

  • Check and Update Project Permissions:

    • For company-managed projects:
      • Ensure you have Create Issue and Browse Project permissions for the destination project.
    • For team-managed projects:
      • Verify that you have Admin access to the destination project.
  • Ensure Global Bulk Change Permission:

    • Confirm with your Jira administrator that you have the global Bulk change permission enabled.
  • Verify Project Accessibility:

    • Confirm that the destination project is visible in the list of all projects to ensure you have the necessary permissions to access it.
