Summary

Confluence users may create Jira Issues directly from the Confluence page as mentioned in the documentation below:

In some scenarios, it will be necessary to add more Jira Issue fields especially the required fields into the Create Jira Issue or Create Multiple Jira Issue screen in Confluence.

Environment

Confluence Server and Data Center

Solution

In order to add the required Jira System fields or Custom fields to the Create multiple issues configuration screen in Confluence, you'll need to perform the following:

  1. Navigate to the main Jira settings > Issues > Custom Fields (or Jira settings > Issues > System Fields)
  2. Find the System/Custom field(s) that you would like to add and ensure that the field is marked as Required.
  3. Click on Configure the custom field and add the field to the scope of the Issue Type and Project:
  4. (info) Kindly clear the Browser Cache and flush the Confluence System Cache via Cache Management after adding the fields.

Confluence do not support the Jira Custom field type coming from a third-party Custom Fields ++ for Jira plugin installed in Jira.
