Which Linux distributions are compatible with Confluence?

Note that this knowledge base article was created for the Data Center version of the product. Data Center knowledge base articles for non-Data Center-specific features may also work for Server versions of the product, however they have not been tested. Summary
As noted in our Supported Platforms documentation, Confluence is compatible with most versions of Linux. We do not test Confluence with every Linux distribution or provide a list of known compatible distributions or versions, but we do internally test common functionality for all new releases on the latest LTS version of Ubuntu.
You should only install and use Confluence on Linux versions that have active vendor support. For example, most distributions have a Long Term Support version that is geared toward support and stability.
Few issues are caused directly by Linux compatibility. However, if you do feel that you are having an issue caused by Linux compatibility, please create a Support Ticket.
Known Compatibility Issues
- Alpine Linux (3.5 and earlier) is not compatible with Confluence

- While Confluence can run on 32-bit operating systems, we only provide a 64-bit installer.
