Your profile picture is used as the icon for your personal space, to represent you in the People Directory, and to illustrate your comments.
You may upload your own profile picture, or use one of the images provided by Confluence. If you upload your own profile picture, it will be resized to 48x48 pixels.
To upload a profile picture,
- Click the 'Preferences' link located below the breadcrumbs at the top of the page. This will display your profile.
- Go to the 'Edit Profile' tab.
- Click the 'Profile Picture' link.
- Either:
- Click the 'Browse' button to locate your picture, then click the 'Upload' button to upload a picture from your computer or file server.
Or: - Select one of the icons provided.
- Click the 'Browse' button to locate your picture, then click the 'Upload' button to upload a picture from your computer or file server.
- Click the 'Save' button.
You cannot remove a profile picture
The current version of Confluence does not allow you to remove a profile picture once you have uploaded it. See JIRA issue CONF-5885.
