Adding a Project Link
To link a Crucible project to a project in another application:
- Go to the Crucible administration console and click 'Projects'.
- Click 'Application Links' in the 'Operations' column next to the project that you want to link from. The project links screen will appear.
- The instructions for adding a project link will vary depending on whether the target application has the Application Links functionality installed:
- If the target application has Application Links:
- Click Add Link. Then, in the dropdown menu, click the application that contains the project you want to link to, such as a Jira Software site containing a project. or a Confluence site containing a space.
- Select either:
- Authorize — to grant your project authorized access to the target project. You will be taken to the remote application, so that you can log in and authorize access.
- Skip – your access is anonymous — to allow anonymous access to the target project.
- In the Name or Key field, enter the name/key of the project in the remote application, such as a Jira Software project key, or a Confluence space key.
- Click Create.
- If the target application does not have Application Links:
- Click Add Link. Then, in the dropdown menu, click the application that contains the project you want to link to, such as a Jira Software site containing a project. or a Confluence site containing a space.
- In the Key field, enter the name/key of the project in the remote application, such as a Jira Software project key, or a Confluence space key.
- (optional) Enter a display name for the project in the Alias field.
- Click Create.
