You can configure a number of settings that will customise your view of the Planning Board only.
To customise your preferences for the Planning Board,
- Log into JIRA.
Click the 'Agile' menu in the top navigation bar and select 'Planning Board' from the dropdown that displays. The 'Planning Board' will display.
- Select your project from the project dropdown in the top left of the Planning Board (next to 'PLANNING BOARD'), if it is not already selected. The 'Planning Board' will refresh with information for your project.
- Enable the 'User Preferences' toolbar if it is not already enabled, by clicking the 'Tools' menu and clicking 'User Preferences'. The 'User Preferences' toolbar will display. Please note, the preferences displayed in the toolbar will change depending on whether you are viewing issues as cards or as a list.

- Customise your preferences as desired:
- #Cards/Page (displays only when viewing issues as cards) — The maximum summaries per page to display in the summary mode (-1 in card mode).
- #Cards/row (displays only when viewing issues as cards) — The maximum summaries per row to display in the summary mode (-1 in card mode).
- #Rows (displays only when viewing issues in a list) — The maximum number of issues per page to display in the list mode.
- #Pages — The number of page to display in the pagination.
- Refresh Rate — The auto-refresh delay in seconds.
- Highlight — The opacity ratio to use when using the highlight of the context.
- Use JIRA IFrame — Check this checkbox to use JIRA's IFrames when viewing issues in GreenHopper, i.e. when you click an issue in any of the boards the issue details will display in a pop-up window (IFrame) rather than opening the issue in the standard JIRA view.
