Plugins are often developed separately from your application. You may wish to upgrade your plugins to more recent versions to allow them to work with your application version or simply to take advantage of new features in a plugin version. The Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) provides you with a list of plugins that have available upgrades and allows you to upgrade each plugin individually or in bulk.

If you are considering upgrading your application, you can use the Universal Plugin Manager to check the compatibility of your plugins with your desired application version. Read Checking Plugin Compatibility for Application Upgrades for further details.
