Purpose

This guide will show you how to clone a deployment project (and all deployment environments within) as a new project in Bamboo.

The new project will use the same source plan, branch and artifacts as the cloned project. All environments and their settings will be copied as well. The new project will also use a copy of the version naming scheme, starting at the same number as the cloned project.

Solution

  1. Edit the existing deployment project you want to clone from Deploy >> All Deployment Projects >> Edit.
  2. Click the [...] dropdown in the top right hand corner of the UI.
  3. Select Clone Project:
  4. Enter a new Project name and click Clone project.
