This article provides guidance on how to disable the Force Stop Build feature in Bamboo Data Center when using YAML Specs.

Environment

The solution has been validated in Bamboo Data Center 9.2 but may be applicable to other versions.

Solution

To disable the force stop build option using YAML you need to add the option custom.com.atlassian.bamboo.plugin.hungbuildkiller.hung under the all-other-apps section, as shown below:

  ...
  all-other-apps:
    custom.com.atlassian.bamboo.plugin.hungbuildkiller.hung:
      enabled: false
...
