Compute Engine lets you use virtual machines that run on Google's infrastructure. Create micro-VMs or larger instances running Debian, Windows, or other standard images. It's possible to install and configure Bamboo Data Center on the Google Cloud Platform and there are no special prerequisites or configuration options required to run your server. If you're an experienced GCP user, you can set up your instance using the regular installation instructions. As of now, GCP provides a Virtual Machine and you can follow the Bamboo installation guide.

Prerequisites

  • Google Cloud account access
  • Compute Engine API enabled
  • VM Instance

Atlassian doesn't provide support for the Google Cloud Platform. Bamboo provides flexibility to be used on different machines and operating systems, but we don't officially support GCP. Therefore, if there are any issues with your Bamboo configuration, installation, and usage, we'll be able to assist but if it involves specific configurations from GCP you will need to contact GCP support channel.
